A team of researchers from South Africa and Zambia investigated the ability of the South African plant called Senecio serratuloides to lower high blood pressure. The team published their results in the journal BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
The findings of the study confirmed the use of S. serratuloides crude extract in traditional antihypertensive treatment.
